    I have a new T500 and I plan on reinstalling/upgrading my OS.

I wanted to make sure I had backups of all the valuable pre-installed software before doing so, so I was downloading the thinkvantage suite from lenovo's site. However, I noticed that the active protection system was not available for download, and it said it only comes preinstalled.

Does anyone know a way to retain this software after a clean install?
