    Hi All

    I need your help to reset the bios password of my ibm SL510 ,
    I can enter to bios but i can't edit different setting inside , exemple i want to select bootable DVD drive or enable usb drive i can't ,
    these function are disable .

    Unplug the laptop. Press and hold the power button for 12 seconds. Not 11, or 13, but 12. Now, disconnect the keyboard cable, plug in an external keyboard in the USB port. Press and hold the power button for 7 seconds.
    Now, disconnect the external keyboard, connect the internal keyboard, press and hold the power button again for 12 seconds. Now plug the power port back in and you should be good to go! If it didn't work, you didn't do it right, repeat all the steps again.

    you can't reset it unless you know the password.
