got my new s10-3 yesterday and very pleased.
Ordered 19/4/2010, received 4/5/2010 -- just about right on the promised 2 weeks listed online.
Mine is the 064746U configuration which means it is Red and intended for the Canadian market -- some bilingual keys and a French manual (but no English one -- oh well, its available as a download).
Swapped out the standard 1gb RAM module for a 2gb Hyenix one, simple and easily accomplished, 4 screws, quick pop and fit, then slotted in the battery, plugged and booted: Bios recognized the RAM and all was good to go.
Win 7 starter is not the dog every claims -- this is strictly a netbook and is to complement the M15 not replace it. One advantage of win7 on both machines is Homegroup which means I can transfer files off the M!% directly to the s10 which was great for text, powerpoint, music and pictures.
Downloaded and installed Oceanis to change the desktop image and it works well.
Found the Lenovo face recognition to be awful and removed it -- will never complain about ALine Sense again!

Otherwise, netbook is terrific: light, solid, 7 hrs battery life, easy to change power settings, extremely good wifi speed and connections and great keyboard -- the much maligned trackpad is not as bad as people make out -- I usually use a mouse so its a total no-issue but I did try the trackpad and it was fine.

All in all a great buy and for anyone reading and thinking about a netbook and how the s10-3 stacks up -- very well.

List price is $499 Cdn.: mine was $100 off and then a further coupon reduction, final cost $318 Cdn, plus free shipping. Not only a good netbook but at that price point a great deal too.

Only negative aside from the French only manual was the 60-day trial of Office which refuses to accept my perpetual key to activate -- will use the free trail and then strip it out and re-install from my CD -- unnecessary but typical of MS paranoia.

Cool. Glad you like it. If I got a netbook again, it would definitely be a Lenovo. :)
