What graphics card do you have?

Do the artifacts always occur at the top of the screen? Are they always there, or do they appear after having your system on for a bit?

Make sure you have the latest BIOS update. Beyond that, I'd call Lenovo for support; you could have an overheating GPU or one that is failing.

it seems to happen only with integrated mode. I have the switchable graphics GPU, and yes it happens generally after the machine has been on for a while.

It also happens all over the screen...its kinda weird..sometimes a window thats in the background will have the artefacts, but the front windows will be fine....
