    Hi,

I don´t understand the differences between all the different screen options. Can someone please enlighten me?

    WXGA
    WXGA+
    HD
    HD+

Is WXGA+ any better or worse that HD, if they have the same resolution? Or are they different terms for the same thing?

Also, what is WWAN antenna. I don´t see why a screen would have an antenna. Its not for wireless internet is it?

    Thank-you!!

There is some confusion here. WXGA(1280x800) and WXGA+(1440x900) are often used for HD(1366x768) and HD+(1600x900). They're pretty close, but WXGA and WXGA+ have a 16:10 aspect ratio while HD and HD+ are 16:9. In effect it gives you more space on the sides, but less vertically. Whether it's better or worse I guess would depend on how you define those.

WWAN gives you internet access over the cell phone network. The antennas are housed the LCD frame because that's where they get the best reception. WWAN has a much better range than a wireless network. It should work anywhere there's cell phone service, though the speed can vary quite a bit. For example, I live is in a rural area and all cell phone network speeds are pretty much dial up speed. There's no 3g or 4g, or even Edge.

Some vendors/dealers also call 1600x900 WXGA++. It IS confusing, so don't feel bad about it. ;-)
