I saw looking through the series 3 docks for one for my t420. I compared the features and want to purchase one of the better ones but there are different voltages for the different docks.

Which one do I get? I live in the USA btw.

It's just a power adapter difference that comes with the dock, get 90W. Look on ebay, the docks are super cheap.

    Voltage? 110-240v :D

Wattage though...depends on the adapter you plug into it. It's the same plug as the laptop, so you can use whatever works for the laptop. The low end dock doesnt even come with a power adapter. The middle one comes with 90w, and the top end model I am not sure about off the top of my head, but I would guess 90w as well.

I picked up mine off of ebay. It's legit. Now the ones for like $75 shipping from China I would be weary of though. Granted thats where they come from anyways, but so do all the knockoffs for anything imaginable.

IF you're talking about the power adapter, the 65W that came with my X220 works with the mini dock series 3. No extra heat emitted from the adapter, charges fine and everything works fine.
