    shipping/customs delays anyone?

    well my r61 shipped last week finally.. and i was watching it daily on ups.com but on Saturday it arrived in Alaska then said shipped out 30mins later on its way to Louisville.. and there hasn't been any other updates since Saturday.. anyone else have similar delays? i called ups they said its in customs.. how long does it take to look at a package? she said more then likely it would be Thursday or later before i receive it.. this suxs..

    mine spent less than a half-day in customs at Louisville (USP hub where they do customs inspections, rather than in Anchorage). Since your's landed on Sat, maybe customs doesn't work weekends? ;)

    the weird thing is it says it left alaska on saturday.. on its way to louisville but there hasnt been any other updates.. i just checked it a sec ago here is what it says..

    Sounds like it is in transit to Louisville, not in Louisville in customs.

    Based on past experience I would not be surprised if it arrives in Louisville tomorrow, goes through customs about 1am or so and delivers Thursday.

    i called ups again to see and they told me the airplane that left from alaska makes numerous stops before it gets to louisville and that my package wasnt touched it wont show that it landed/tookoff from those terminals.. which i have ordered a bunch of stuff over the years and alot of it from overseas.. i never saw anything where its not being updated.. they couldnt even tell me where it was but that it was scheduled to be out for delivery on thursday.. i guess we shall see.. they told me i should see some update last night at midnight.. however i checked this morning and no change in status.. its the exact same..
