Seems like a good deal, but it all depends on what you are planning on using it for...
-
If you want to save a bit more money, order 1GB of RAM and upgrade the rest on your own.
-
Looks good esp. processor. You might also want to opt for bluetooth as I hate dongles
And I am personally a fan of integrated x3100 cards as it will help keep the laptop cooler and I am NOT a gamer, more of a surfer-girl ! -
dongles ??

lsnt this real cheap??!!
-
You can get another 10% back if you use fatcash (google it). You buy it through their link, and then they send you the 10% back a few months later (sort of like a rebate).
-
thanks
but lsnt this real cheap??!! -
That is an incredible deal considering its a thinkpad. You are getting the quality that used to cost three times that price as little as 3 years ago.
So, congratulations when you order it (if you haven't already) and follow those suggestions given above, they are correct. 1 gig of memory can be had for less than $50 if I'm not mistaken and is a breeze to install. And the fatcash thingy is for real too. -
any last thoughts?!!!
thnkng 0f a mac als0

Go for it. Linux FTW!

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo processor T7500 (2.2GHz 800MHz 4MBL2) [add $106.25 $37.50]
??
yay 0 nay? -
What do you plan on doing with your computer?
-
WXGA+ = 1440x900
You get more space to work with by ordering the higher resolution screen. Fonts are smaller, but you can fit more in.
As for the processor, it depends on what you do. I find my T7250 more than enough for what I do (web surfing, word docs, mild gaming, some video editing). -
I would say go for the WXGA+ since it's only $30 more, unless you have a hard time seeing, since you can run more applications side by side. I recommend you to go to a local computer shop to compare the resolutions personally and see what you prefer.
EDIT: Why are there two prices at each option? "$106.25 $37.50"? -
shlt ls this EST? USPMAYSAVINGS 10% dosnt Work!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
-
Yes, There will be coupons again in a week or two just keep an eye on the sticky. They will probably be the same......10%
I bought a 15.4" wxga+ and regretted it. I have to take it out of its native resolution or the fonts are too small. If you still have very good eyesight, this may not be a problem for you.
should l get this? good deal? thanks gys
