electronics in general are like that... that's why when i buy electronics.. i completely avoid the products i buy after i loose my chance to do a price quote.

side note: good luck on the price quote it's worth a try to ask

Hey acerbits, I understood where the first two prices came from but I don't know how you came up with the third. I checked Lenovo Canada and didn't see anything in particular (i.e. no deals better than the 2 days only sale last week). How did you get the price the drop even futher? Or am I missing something here? Thanks in advance.

I used the visa perks site with no coupons. Just got off the phone with lenovo and they happily pricematched it for me no fuss no muss.

I just tried using the visa perks website and it was still cheaper with the 2 days only sale last week, given the same specs that I ordered. The price came to $1780.52 using the visa perks website. Am I still missing something? Sorry for asking some many questions acerbits, but I just want to make sure that I'm getting the best deal. Once again thank you for taking the time to answer my questions.

I'm not too sure, maybe only the T500 got a bigger discount? I got a much lower price than the 2 day sale with the T500 I got.

Now that actually makes sense. I tried it with the t500 and it was cheaper and in line with what you got. Thanks for all the help.

P.S. Are there any other sites that you use to get deals on Thinkpads other than Lenovo.com, EPP, and Visa perks?
