The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

It really depends. Sometimes, OEMs send laptops to NBR for review before they are generally available for retail, whereas in other situations, they do not send a machine to NBR until long after the machine has been available for purchase.

In any case, though, expect a near-identical review with the current dual-core X100e review, except for heat & battery life and performance. If a review of the X120e is not released any time soon, you could look at performance review of machines with the same internals to get a feel for the performance of the X120e.

Yea from what I have seen of quick vid intros from CES, it looks to be the same form factor and size and everything except internals and a few i/o changes.

however I am most specifically interested in their battery life and heat claims and how that both holds up.
