What is sw preload? Seems like that is the majority of the files that is taking up space on my c: drive. 30 gb worth. Is this safe to delete?

sw preload is what Lenovo names the primary partition where they install everything on your machine- lenovo programs and your OS...

    do not delete it.

It would be a good idea not to mess with those files. I'm not sure what they do, but they don't take up much space.

I asked about SWShare before, but no one answered. I then deleted the directory off my C drive and moved them to an external hard drive just in case. I didn't encounter any problems whatsoever with the Lenovo software/drivers/etc in the next 5 or so months that I used my Vista factory install for, so you can probably safely delete them.

I'm pretty sure you'll be okay if you do so, yes.
