    t400 - stall on cd boot

    i used to not have this problem with my t400 but now i do

    when i boot from my windows xp cd in order to clean install my drive i get a couple minute lag which just gives me a black screen and nothing happens

    then the cd finally boots and im able to do the clean install

    is this a sign that there is something wrong with my machine?
