How come it takes like 1 hours to charge the last 2% of my battery?

is this normal or should I just stop charging at 98%?

As I see it, the percentage is a mere indication and I believe it is not an accurate respresentation of the 'charge' left in the battery.

if it were me, I'd gladly stop at 98% and consider that as fully charged.

I think it doesn't charge it once it is past a certain amount (9x%).
When I hover over the icon in the task tray, it says 98% and not charging or something to that effect (I'm not on my T400 right now).

i also noticed a "battery threshold" under battery maintenance
where you can choose a profile to maximize battery lifespan

Gentleman, this is normal for lithium batteries. I don't have a copy of a charge graph on this computer that i can post, but this is normal.
