i'd like to ask, why when i use the hotkeys fn + f3 (which i've set in power manager to power off display), my screen goes crazy and blinking all the time? i must perform a hard shut down to stop the blinking and turn on the computer again?

anybody has the same problem? :(

Fn + F3 is already set up on ThinkPads to power off the display. What exactly did you do? You could try re-installing the Hotkey driver.

What happens if you configuire fn+f3 to show the menu, and you turn off the screen through that?

if i using right click from power manager battery in taskbar, the display will off normaly. but if i using fn + f3, the screen will start to dim, and light again, and so on.... i've change the setting in power manager, so if i press fn+f3 it will turn off the display.

Are you saying it is blinking in a on/off fashion?

Or is the power manager kicking in the 50hz refresh rate from the 60hz?

no, i turn off the display by right click at the battery icon in the taskbar, and choose "Power Off Display". after i click, the screen flashes 2 times, then it's normal again(so i can't power off display.
