    t400 virtual memory error(at a loss)

    reformatted drive, running xp pro sp3, 4 times following the clean install recommendations in this forum.

    ran lenovo toolbox and found no errors.

    called tech support and they couldn't figure anything out.

    i get the error sometimes when just idling, and the mft keeps getting fragmented.

    I'm thinking that the hd or ram needs to be replaced, do you think that it can be narrowed down to these two components because if so hopefully they can just send me out a replacement without me having to send my entire unit back.

    You should be running Vista if you have more tha 1.5 gigs.
