Press the eject button on your drive. Power Manager should recognize this and automatically power the drive on.

I believe there's a manual eject lever and a little green light (at least there was on my T40) next to your DVD drive. I suggest ejecting the UltraBay device and re-seating it securely. The light should turn on if you have provided power to it.

Has anyone found a solution to this? I'm running Windows 7 on my T400. It seems odd that you have to completely eject the entire DVD drive (not just the tray) and push it back in just to power on the drive. Powering via software doesn't seem to work, even though there is a "Power on" option when I right click on the DVD drive in Explorer. Is this a bug with Power Manager?
