    i just bought an used T41 and I realized the backspace key feels different then rest of the keyboard. is this normal?

    If it is still under warranty, IBM will send you a knew keyboard. If not, you could buy one. They are easy to replace.

    You could also pop it off and try to re-seat it. It migh have a cookie crumb or something wedged in there.
