    I've got the integrated video t410s and have been tweaking the intel color enhancements to fine tune the lcd as much as i can. Here is what i have so far based on what looks pleasing to my eyes (not scientific in any way)

    All Colors:Contrast 50, Gamma 1 Hue 0 Saturation 0
    For Red: Brightness 8
    For Green: Brightness -5
    For Blue: Brightness -7

    Would love to hear what kind of tweaks have you guys been doing using the color enhancement settings inside the intel gfx & media control panel.

    Let the debates commence ;)

    I couldn't find the original thread where these calibration settings were mentioned so with due deference I am going to repost them here.

    "Howdy all,

    Ive seen quite a few threads talking about the lackluster display of the T410, and I have to say it is a bit of a change from the SL line I enjoyed previously (Flexview). One thing I have found that has helped tremendously is to open the Intel graphics control panel, and modify the Display -> Color Enhancement properties. I have copied my current settings below - they may be a bit much for you, but I have found they make a night-and-day difference on my machine. Hope you find them useful as well!

    Brightness: -13
    Contrast: 51
    Gamma: 0.9
    Hue: 6
    Saturation: (9-13 seems to be a sweet spot)

    Note: Saturation is the really important one - it's what makes colors 'pop'. Problem is that too much makes things look... cartoony? and degraded. Most of the other setting adjustments are to compensate for this effect. The perfect balance, though, really makes a difference"

    Thanks for the settings but you are right getting the saturation right is a pain so for the time being i'm sticking with mine but thanks a lot for posting your settings.
    Any other t410s users want to share their professionally / unprofessionally calibrated settings.

    I appreciate your settings guys. I'm wondering has anyone used any free calibration programs that they'd recommend?

    This is what I'm using:
    Code:
    [COLOR="Red"]Red[/COLOR]
    Brightness:    0
    Contrast:     50
    Gamma:       0.8
    Saturation:    4

    [COLOR="Green"]Green[/COLOR]
    Brightness:   -8
    Contrast:     50
    Gamma:       0.8
    Saturation:    4

    [COLOR="Blue"]Blue[/COLOR]
    Brightness:  -13
    Contrast:     50
    Gamma:       0.7
    Saturation:    4

    EDIT: This is used on my substandard Samsung WXGA+ panel.

    Much thanks s0dhi for sharing your settings. I tried them out, but they didn't look right for me. I'm guessing my panel is a bit different than yours.

    Also thanks erik. I used the calibration tool in Windows 7 and it worked decently. At least it's free.

    I wish Intel included one with their color enhancement program.

    Here's what I ended up with liking (so far):

    Brightness: -4
    Contrast: 50
    Gamma: .8
    Hue: 0
    Saturation: 5
    Backlight: 6 on battery, 8 on power
