This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    I know it's not unheard of for Lenovo's customization tool to be a little messed up on new product releases (or even old ones at times), but is there a technical reason I'm not aware of that prevents the system from having an ExpressCard slot rather than the media card reader if the processor is upgraded to the i5-540M? Changing the CPU removes the expresscard option. It also removes the "system graphics" option, though I'm presuming the laptop still comes with some form of display capability... ;)

    Notably, the order system is already showing a delay of 4+ weeks on the LCD (multitouch or not).
