I found a pretty good deal on a t410s with a multitouch screen, but now am not sure I will really get any value out of it.
1. Can you talk about some cases when you use the multitouch screen?
2. I'm not super concerned about portability. Am I overspending on the t410s to get an extra slim laptop?
3. Do you think this is a good deal?
$1050:
T410s: Core i5 520M / 2.4 GHz - vPro - RAM 2 GB - HDD 128 GB SSD - DVD-Writer - HD Graphics - Gigabit Ethernet - WLAN : 802.11 a/b/g/n (draft), Bluetooth 2.1 - TPM - fingerprint reader - Windows 7 Pro - 14.1" Widescreen TFT Multi-Touch 1440 x 900 ( WXGA+ )

That is a real good deal, that would be a lot more then that configured on Lenovos site. Any idea what kind of SSD is in it?
The multitouch option cost $400 alone on lenovo's site and an SSD would run you another 200 or so dollars depending on what kind it is.
If you are not worried about portability you probably could save a few hundred dollars if you went with the T410 without an SSD and multi touch but personally id jump all over that price (depending on how reliable the source is) -
Thanks..Hoping someone can weigh in who has actually used this screen!
t410s multitouch screen worth it
