    My friend just got a t42 with a 20gb replacement HDD. I like to wipe it and start new. Does anybody know where i can get a set of replacement CD's? Lenovo will not sell restore disk on out of warr laptop. thx

    I think you might be out of luck. I'd just buy a copy of XPP or XPH cheap on Craigslist. Sorry if Lenovo won't help I think that is your only route -- I'd avoid Ebay unless it is reputable seller you trust.
