the wireless (intel -pro2200BG) on my t42 (windows xp pro) is on the brinks...it fails to recognize the available network and when i try to disable it, it hangs up, preventing the computer to shutoff in the normal way.

is there anyway to disable the wireless card till i can spare the laptop to send for service??

    thanks

When you say you tried to disable it, what did you do?

Did you try disabling it in Device Manager?
