This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     t420 and win8 - opinions?

    I've been using win8.1 pro on the t420 for quite some time and find it fine, but sometimes I feel that the trackpad/trackpoint aren't as smooth as on win 7. I played with the ultranav but it seems not to improve things.

    How's the general experience with windows 8.1? Lenovo doesn't provide much driver updates. They system update tool doesn't pick up much of the drivers.
