    t420 dock problems

    I have the 4338 dock and have had two main problems for a long time now and they both are probably related but not sure what is the culprit

    1. some of the usb ports just stop working randomly and I have to plug them in to one of the 3 ports on the machine

    2. sound will act oddly through external speakers. the sub will start creating noise even though the bass is turned all the way down on my control (logitech 3 piece system) and sometime the sound will keep coming when the speakers are at lowest volume (equal to mute).

    is it the dock or the power supply. im using the one that came with the dock and do not have any other supplies of the same wattage, only a few of lower wattage that i use when plugged in from laptop straight to wall.
