    i just picked up mint t42p on ebay and it looks like it hasn't been used for 7~8 years


    do i need to repaste? i mean, i read it somewhere that if a laptop doesn't get used periodically, the thermal

    pasting gets solidified, thus becomes useless and can ruin the processor/GPU...


    what do u guys think?

    Can't hurt to replace it. It also gives you the opportunity to clean up the inside.
