    I consider them average - not great, but not the worst, either. Viewing angles are mediorce, contrast is mediorce - be sure to calibrate it before using.

    But for everyday use? Perfectly usable.

    Spend some time reading through the T430s owners thread, lots of comments on the screen. Consensus seems to be it is fine for average consumer, but lacks overall vibrance and viewing angle. Not bad for programmers, not good for gfx folks. Overall for what is marketed as a high end machine its a low end screen, but realistically for the price most people are actually paying (with all the sales) I think it will be fine.
