the t500 has way better graphics than the t400 right?
-
anyone? the ATI 3650 is way better than the 3460 right in the t400 right?
or is the 3650 a typo? -
ATI HD3650 chip is very good. Not sure how it is configured in the T500 but if done right I would think it would perform better than the T61p's FX570m GPU.
-
that's strange because I only see people getting the t400 with weaker graphics
is it because it has LED (t400)? -
It's about preference.
As soon as Lenovo comes out with a 14" ThinkPad that can score 13,000 benchmarks on 3dMark06 I'm upgrading from T61p.
I prefer a 14" size for a notebook. -
so the 14" is much smaller and more portable huh

ATI HD 3650 is about equal to a Nvidia 8600M GT. It also depends on what memory type the card is equipped with, DDR2 or the faster DDR3. I suspect they use DDR2 for the cards in the T500, and probably a 3DMark06 score of around 3000+.

I prefer 14" laptop so I go with T400....I am a casual gamer who travels a lot on the plane....so I need smaller laptops with decent graphics like HD3470 ....although HD3650 is way better and has the Display Port...it also has the LED screen!
