hi I want to buy new coming t520 with i7-2820qm and discrete gpu, but I don't want to have heat issues or loud fans
do you know if it's better to wait a mont to see if there's any issue or i can be sure that thinkpad haven't got these problems?t series has the same cooling system of w series?
do you think it's better than new elitebook 8560p?

You are asking about models that were just announced, I doubt anyone can give you a straight answer to these questions. You should wait until both the Lenovo and the HP offerings are available, and make a comparison then.

T520 and W520 will have the same chassis as T510 and W510, but I don't know if the internals - cooling system, fans - have changed at all. Again, it is better to wait until the models are actually available and there are reviews available. Only then can you know for sure.

Lenovo say for the new 2011 lineup:
    - New owl fan so quiet you can hear a pin drop
    - Up to 2 decibel less acoustic noise

Personally I would wait for some actual reviews of these machines regarding the noise and heat, and since they are not available yet this may be a little bit. :)

Historically, over the last few generations, the HP Elitebooks have ran louder than their Thinkpad equivalents. Given that the Elitebooks now have a new chassis design, it's hard to say whether that will still hold true, however, the recent Thinkpads have usually had whisper-quiet operation.

The T510 (which used dual cores) did use a slightly different cooling system from the W510 (which used quad cores), but I would expect that the new quad-core-equipped T520s would have a cooling system identical/similar to that of the W510.

Another than those logical suppositions, your best bet is to wait until more users and reviewers have gotten their hands on these actual machines, so you can get more actual feedback.
