Just got my t60 today. Everything seems great but I had one quick question. Does the battery fit perfectly into the battery slot? After I put it in I noticed that I can jiggle it around ever so slightly. I think this may be how all the batteries fit. Just wondering if the battery is suppose to be totally firmly in place and not able to move at all. Thanks. Sorry if I'm being overly picky.

I've heard from others that this is a common problem among all t60 owners. I haven't gotten mine so I can't tell you, but I'm expecting the same thing to happen. do a search, some say use a thick tape to cushion the battery so it stays firmly in place.

I've got the 9 cell battery on my T60 and it too jiggles in its slot ever so slightly. Hasn't caused any problems, but it can certainly be annoying since it's fit/design isn't up to par with the rest of the machine's fit & finish.

My T60 w/ 6 cell is a little loose, but all I'd noticed is how easy it was to insert/remove. Maybe I'll have problems as the notebook ages.
