    thanks for reading :p
i am looking for a new laptop to replace my g4 ibook,(a little slow now)
i have looking into macprobook, but it seems that it is still a little expensive for me now,
then, i think of ibm,for its good name for durable and quality..
    then,i think of x60 and t60...
first i want a t60 badly ,because my ibook is 12.1',and i am tired of that tiny screen, but when i think again , x60 is still a good choice...for it is quite easy to carry around.
now i am feel quite unease to consider which one to buy.
    they are both awesome.
so ,may be anybody here could offer me some advice?
i have only 1700$now ,and if possible,i don't want to use it up.1500$~1650$ will be ok.... :p
    so,which configuration should i take?
and where to buy is best?
ha,i am a international student new to american ,and not very familiar with the online shop..
and how much it will cost me if want the configuration below?:

    •*
    512MB RAM
    •*
80GB hard drive /60g will also be fine.
    •*
DVD±RW(±R DL)/DVD-RAM or cd/dvd will also be ok.
    •*
    10/100/1000 Ethernet
    •*
    WiFi 802.11a/b/g
    •*
    Bluetooth

and i want fingerprint ,no need of evdo, and 1year's warrenty will be ok

CostCentral.com usually has pretty good prices, but you won't get the security of Lenovo's 30 day return policy. You should qualify for student discounts from Lenovo.

Who's your frineds, Lenovo reps? Ask Lenovo and you'll know for sure. Sometimes the discounts are very good and sometimes not depending on what state you are in and the machine type. I suppose if you are more flexible on model you'll get a better price. I know for my state they were offereing some pretty hefty discounts on x60s which I was looking at. They were less than I could find on the internet anyway. You still have to pay tax which lessens the deal some, but you can return it which is nice for such a big purchase. Good Luck.
