    hi,i have a t60 and i would like to upgrade my ram (beauase it only has 512mb),
    so could i just buy another 512mb ram module on top of the origianal or do i have to buy 2 of the same one?

    You can just buy another 512MB stick and put it in the open slot, assuming you have one.

    However, I'd recommend that you buy a 2GB stick and put it in the empty slot.

    You don't have to buy two of the same sticks for them to be able to function correctly in your system.

    If you are running XP and doing light computing tasks, 2GB is probably not needed.
