My t61's Fn+arrow keys used to work with both WMP and Itunes until I did a reinstall of everything. Now it only works with WMP, unless the Itunes window is in focus. I've installed the Hotkey drivers but to no avail.

Anyone have a solution? Thanks for any input.

Hey, I had the same problem and while searching found this:

    everythingitunes.com/os/windows/2008-01-04/mmkeysdll/

It's a .dll plugin you put in your itunes plugins folder and it lets you use your laptop media keys (for thinkpad fn+left, fn+right, etc.) to control itunes. It works perfectly.

NOTE: should be a www before the above address but I can't put in a "url" because I haven't made 15+ posts

... I used to use the media buttons on my ThinkPad with iTunes and I never had to add any iTunes plugins. It's always worked for me. I now use them with Songbird which also works without plugins...

I think they're referring to v8.x of iTunes. I've noticed this too. Good find on the plugin! :)
