The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    so i've had this t61 ws since the summer, despite the delayed shipping etc...

    i've been using the password manager with the fingerprint reader, but every so often, all the entries are lost.

    like i've never put them in.

    gone.

    sometimes as often as twice a week, but this time, after a month or so...

    :mad:

    i also seem to get a lot of "host services stopped working" messages :mad: :mad:


    any solutions, comments?

    No, it's definately a software issue (and not a hardware one). You might as well wait until they fix it and use another password manager until then.
