    t61 and t61p with same specs?

    I thought I matched the specs of a t61 and a t61p and the t61p came out much more expensive. Supposing I did get the 'customize' so the two machines looked the same, what feature would the difference in price represent? Thank you!

    I think the biggest difference with the T61p is the graphics card.

    You're right! They are both nvidea(sp?) but I missed the 128/256 difference. Thanks.

    The memory, 128/256, makes no difference in performance. It's the model of the GPU that is more expensive due to it being a professional level card.

    The crippling of the 128MB card is by cutting the width of the memory bus in half, which cuts the memory bandwidth in half.
