    t61 notebook sleeve

    I know there is a section of this forum dedicated to this topic, but I thought It'd be more useful to get some input from fellow t61 users. Anyway, I'm looking to buy a notebook sleeve for the 14.1" t61 with a 7 cell battery.

    I went around shopping and came across quite a few 15.4" notebook sleeves but no 14.1" sleeves. I'm not even sure that it would fit into a 14.1" notebook sleeve with the 7 cell battery. The nicest one I came across was this.

    I would check out Spire's products.
    They have a pretty good selection and I am thinking about getting a "boot" as they call it from them.

    I have the same problem too. It's all 15.4" and 17" on the market. It sucks!

    I have ordered a Crumpler The Gimp 15" 4:3, if you it's dimensions it should be perfect fitting on the width, and is a little too big in the depth:

    Internal: 33.5x28x4cm

    T61 dimension with 4 cell battery:
    (335mm x 237mm x 27.6 - 31.9mm)

    With the 7 cell it's .9 inch (around 23mm) more in depth, right?

    So it's 1 cm too big.

    Did you try sfbags.com? Waterfield makes some kickass sleeves.

    thanks, sfbags does have a bag specifically for the t61 with the 6 and 7 cell. Just not sure if I'm willing to pay $40 plus shipping for a sleeve.
