Anybody here know if the t61 WXGA+ screen displays in 6 bit with dithering or 8 bit? or anything about the response time?

its not going to stop my order, but I would like to know, especially after reading about the lawsuit and http://www.colorblindmac.com/

    Thanks

I'm fairly certain that almost all current notebooks use 6-bit TN panels, with the exception of the 15" Flexview IPS Thinkpads.

Response time is likely 25ms. For example, the following are some potential panels that may be used in the T61: Samsung, LG-Philips and AUO - all 6-bit TN panels with 25ms response time.

    even flexview screens are 6-bit.
