    hello friends,

i have a thinkpad t61 15.4" t7100 120 gb hd 1gb ram gma x3100 646557U. anyway yesterday i turned my laptop off at night, unplugged everything from it, and lifted the laptop. i noticed that if i turn the laptop, something inside moves. in other words, lets say i close the lid, lift the laptop off my table, i turn so that the optical drive is facing the ground. then i turn it the other way so the headphone ports and usb slot is facing the ground. while turning i hear something inside the laptop slide from one side to the other. is this normal? the laptop seems to be functioning fine.

    thank you friends

Hey phomanny, I also had the same problem. The noise should be coming from the ultrabay drive. Try to release the plastic strip (which is used to pull the ultra bay out) and tilt your notebook again, you would see that the sound is gone. You push the strip back in, the sound comes back. I think we will have to live with it.
