    OK, this is driving me nuts. Several months ago, I bought a t61 with a 9-cell battery; I am looking to get a second one, but cannot find the t61 with that option anymore....did Lenovo stop offering that, only offering it as an extra accessory?

    Yeah, they remove some options when they have shortage, whether are some screen resolutions, batteries or something else.

    ok...I've been looking for a week and a half or so

    Just to clarify, they ARE listed as an available accessory, just not in any of the configurations that I have come up with.

    Do note that if you buy a second one, and don't use it, it'll still lose it's capacitance slowly.

    We KNOW that. :D They DO have a SHORTAGE of batteries, that's way they REMOVED the option when you customize the notebook.

    He's buying a second notebook, not a second battery, at least from what I can tell.

    Well, Lenovo DOES sell 9 cell batteries separately, so no it's not called Google in this case, unless you want to buy a pre-configured model.

    Btw, that thing "Google" seems a very nice thing, I had never heard about it before. :D What's up Han? ;)
