Hey everyone. I have a predicament. Apparently after installing the 180.84 drivers, on my t61p, I can no longer change the brightness levels for the screen. The fn key shortcut works because I see the bars increasing/decreasing on screen but to no visual affect.

Previous drivers that worked for me, which I have been using for a while now, was 177.92.

Another thing I noticed, my laptop now idles 5 degrees warmer than before with the 180.84 drivers.

    I'm running vista ultimate 64 bit w/ quadro 570m 256mb

    thnx for any input

I'm wondering if anyone has experienced this problem before. What did you do to remedy this?

Please observe the 24 hour rule for bumping threads.

I think the obvious answer would be to return to the old drivers.
