    hello everyone,
I was using usb keyboard for the past few days cos the ribbon cable on original keyboard was broken, and the replacement won't comes in any time soon. Everything was fine untill it powered off due to ovreheat this morning. I have googled and come across a few solutions dealing with motherboard like connect circuits, condctors, dvd tray wires...but none of them are for t61p. I need to turn on it soon and I really hope someone can help me out.
    thanks for reading.
ps :pictures will be much appreciated.

I assume you have no docking station.

One way to get it to turn on is to pull the CMOS battery. It'll turn on automatically after you reattach the AC.
