    hello all,

I'm a bit confused about the t61p screen options.

my initial impression was that t61p was only available in widescreen form (both 14 and 15"), but on lenovo's order page, a 14.1" SXGA+ is listed as an option.

I assume this is a standard 4:3 ratio screen?

if so, can anyone comment on the quality of this screen? review of standard ratio t61 gave poor marks for screen quality.

also, has this screen been updated recently? someone commented a change in screen spec (increase in brightness?) on lenovo's website.

    thanks!

The lack of 14" wide screen option and lack of 570m 256mb GPU option led me to get the 15.4" wide screen T61p with 256mb.

I wanted a 14" for portability and battery life. Settled with the slightly larger more powerful 15.4" T61p. It's all good.
