    will this work? It should with middlebios whitelist removed.

    It should do, Middleton's BIOS removes the Lenovo whitelist so theoretically you can use any wireless card you want. My T61 has a generic Intel Advanced-N 6205 card with the Half Height adapter and it runs just fine.
