    Hello

    I am considering a T61 with Vista, but find it difficult choosing video card. I do not play games at all, but sometimes I edit RAW files in Photoshop (From Pentax DSLR's). Will I notice a huge difference between Intel 3100 and Nvidia? What is the difference between them regarding heat/noise and battery run time?

    Photoshop is not at all GPU dependent, you'll be fine with the X3100. Don't know specific numbers between the two, but the X3100 will definitely be the cooler, quieter, and less power hungry of the two.
