Well, its here! After being held at a shipping checkpoint in Kentucky... And the screen is quite bright, , its actually hurting my eyes, how do i make it lower??![]()
I have yet to try it outside and to watch a DVD, will keep you posted. Just from what I remember of the z60t model in Office Depot, this is a lot nicer.
One thing though - my laptop didn't come with the fingerprint reader... I just reread the specs and realized that the model i ordered doesn't come with it.![]()
Are there any settings/programs out there that set different modes of brightness to see the difference between 200 and 300 nits?

Wow, cool!
I want a full view angle test - horizontal and vertical.
More specific:
1) Are the colors distorted when you look from a large vertical angle above? If so, how?
2) Are the colors distorted when you look from a large vertical angle below? If so, how?
3) When looking at a black picture (like a fullscreen DOS window) in a dark room - do you see violet hue when looking from large horizontal angles?
P.S. I don't think you'll miss the fingerprint reader. -
You can use the battery maximer to create different power profiles using various levels of brightness.

I was starting to think MaxBright was a non-existant tease created by Lenovo -- glad somebody finally got it and can vouch for it. Would definitely be interested to hear more of your thoughts, thanks for posting this.
the z60m with MaxBright arrived
