I ordered my T60 ws on 11/30 with an estimated ship date of today 12/14 now it's 12/28. I am seriously thinking about cancelling it and getting an HP nc8430. I wish Lenovo had their [edited by moderator] together.

Thanks...1 of the reasons I wanted the T60 over the nc8430 is the T60 has an option in the bios for virtualization. I know HP is working on a bios upgrade for the nc8430 that will include it but I need it sooner than later.

I just spoke with a rep at Lenovo and he said he is showing that it is suppose to ship around the 20th instead of the 28th. He also verified that Lenovo is having supply issues. I called HP and to get a nc8430 with the same specs as the T60 I have on order is $2200. I paid $1494.35 for the T60, so for now I am going to bite the bullet and wait.

I'm glad that I didn't cancel my order. It shipped over the weekend. Looks like I have the ALPS keyboard.

Got my T60 WS last week. Built quility is top touch, but I was so disappointed by the screen. There is huge amount of light leaking from the bottom edge, almost lighting up 1/5 of the screen when it is black. Also, I can see some wrinkles on the screen when I open the lid, although not like other brand (spots).

I am not sure whether I can return or exchange it for these reasons. Any suggestion? or experience?

Sorry I have never had a problem like that with the T41 that I had. Not sure if you can return it either and I'm not sure what you can for warranty work.

have them replace your unit.. you don't want your lappy with wrinkles right? and hmm, that amount of light leakage must be horror of some sort, the ghost of Z61m  just kidding. mine doesn't have one

Did you get the WXGA or WSXGA screen? The WXGA is supposed to be an older, lower quality screen and was the reason I chose to go with the z61m instead.

Mine is WSXGA, which looks good in the review, but turn out to be bad with light leaking. I will try to contact lenovo to exchange to a Z61t or a regular T60. Hope I can make it work.
