Rapid Drive is the same technology that was going to be in Y460 and y560. I don't see how this is better than T410s expect for Rapid Drive

Perhaps its the nev V series?
Not sure if i see trackpoint in that flash ad so it shouldnt be L series, right? Considering that L is supposed to be thinkpad and V isnt.
Looks sleek, would be cool if it was answer to Vostro V13/Vostro 3x00 refresh :D

the toughbook looking laptop is used by Chinese military, don't think it would become available on the international market anytime soon.

These look like China-only models. The US already has the G-series value computers and the Y-series multimedia machines, so it wouldn't make much sense to add more lettered-series to the existing models.

    this is the correct answer.

if you don't see a TrackPoint or a ThinkPad logo on the palmrest, it's simply not a ThinkPad. ;)

The ideapad V-serie should come out soon worldwide. Aimed towards small business.

But this isn't the V serie, they don't look alike. See here for the V460: http://news.lenovo.com/photo_display.cfm?photo_id=5202
