    thinkpad R61 screen brightness adjustment

    Hi guys, I have a really simple (or stupid) question:

    just got a R61i, and can't figure out how to adjust the LCD screen's brightness.

    there's two keys that seems to be designed for that function, but when i pressed them nothing happened.

    Did you use press the similarly colored Fn button in the lower left while pressing those buttons?

    Anything in blue requires you to push the function key for it to work like the screen brightness, the ThinkLight, etc.

    And the new thinkpads have many more increments, so you may need to press it 4 times to even notice the difference
