    the thinkpad edge has the function F1 to F12 keys reversed with the other functions they can do
    i was wondering how to change this back to the "norm" that we are used to

    In the bios you can change the default behavior. I forget the exact set of menu options, but I know you can do it in the bios. You can also switch the FN and Ctrl key too.
