    thinkpad r61 svideo issue

    I was able to connect my r61 to my tv via svideo easily enough. The problem is that it only displays 4x3, is there anyway for me to get the display to show in widescreen? The intel graphics tool has a tv vs laptop mode, but the tv mode is limited in terms of tv resolutions (1024x768 seems to be the max). Thanks for any help.

    I think S-video does not work like VGA in terms of outputting to a certain resolution there's just the signal and that's it. IMO using VGA is far better than S-video, the text is blurry on the TV
