hi guys.. question . what do you think the answer is

before sent to lenovo for repair (ethernet card broken) :
mobo was ok. BIOS version may not be the latest. the fan working fine ( work more when high load and does not sound too much when idle )

    after repair. they replace motherboard
BIOS latest. OS idle.. (anyway software is not the problem. power manager is not max performance or anything )

but the fan keeps running...( literally never turn off / slow down since the laptop on )

it may not be a bad thing but tell me this could be better?

Try setting 2 in PM for both AC and DC.

BTW, the industrys dirty little secret sometimes is swap parts repeatedly on warranty repair until the customer gets a good one. Send it back. If bad things happen 2 more times invoke the Lemon Law in your state.

yeah i was reall y thinking the fan does not pass QC really.
because it has nothing to do with OS as well as the BIOS ( latest version already )
and i am mostly idle right now...

Try setting 2 in PM for both AC and DC.

can you explain what you meant? i dont recall having that settings in ....bios? thanks
